Afsanah Guest House

Afsanah Guest House is one of Auroville’s best known and long established facilities for visitors from around the world. It is located in a richly forested area of Auroville, near Kottakarai village and few minutes from the Matrimandir, on the north-west fringes of the township. Set in a quiet and beautiful environment, with surrounding Japanese-style gardens, it has been providing a high standard of comfort and service since 1989, regularly drawing back many of its guests-like old friends-for repeat stays.

Our Guest-house is a great place to relax during your stay in Auroville.

We host several activities within our guesthouse to provide a rich community experience.

We are a unit of Auroville. As our guest, you will be contributing to Auroville and you will have access to specific places in Auroville.
